Country music's greatest put on their best boots for the 60th annual American Country Music Awards on Thursday (May 8) in Frisco, Texas, including the legendary Brooks & Dunn joined by Cody Johnson!
Johnson was first to take the stage, serenading the crowd with a moving performance of "The Fall" before joining Brooks & Dunn for an early 2000s throwback.
The trio lit up the stage with 2003 hit, "Red Dirt Road," sending the audience, and viewers watching at home on a nostalgic journey two decades into the past.
Johnson, Kix Brooks, and Ronnie Dunn breathed new life to the country anthem, prompting fellow country stars to tap their feet to the beat of the timeless track.
The "Dance Her Home" hitmaker is currently on tour, with his next performance slated for Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 17.
Brooks & Dunn are gearing up to perform at the Sand In My Boots festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, from May 16 to May 18.
Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapelton, Rascal Flatts, Jelly Roll, Zach Top, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Megan Moroney, Kelsea Ballerini, Reba McEntire, Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert, Clint Black, LeAnn Rimes, Wynonna Judd, Dan + Shay, Shaboozey, Brothers Osborne, and Sugarland also stole the show at this year's anniversary show.
