FINALLY A WAY TO GET YOUR TEENS TO EAT HEALTHIER!

If you have teens, or you were once a teen, you know they can be very rebellious, in fact, they're programmed to rebel against EVERYTHING. Trinity, our daughter is 16 now, wait, what?? how the heck did that happen, anyhoo, her favorite food group is sugar. Now in her defense neither myself or Jeff have been great roll models, Jeff's favorite food group is whiskey, and mine is Amy's Donuts, I know by now you are saying "VAL, GET TO THE DAMN POINT ALREADY" OK sorry about that... here's is what you need to do to get your teens to eat healthier:

A new study finally found a way to get kids to eat healthy: Make it REBELLIOUS. Researchers gave teenagers an article about how corporations are manipulating them to eat addictive junk food and getting rich off them as a result . . . and the kids immediately started making healthier food choices. This article from the New York Times is a bit long but it's worth reading, if your kid is like ours and they have an attention span of a nat then I would just read the article, (it's fascinating) and highlight the stuff that will get their blood boiling
