Wyoming Couple Gets Into World Record Books For Setting Up a Tent
I had the last two weeks off, and the most I accomplished was finishing a couple seasons of "The Walking Dead."
A couple in Laramie, WY accomplished a bit more with their time...
Elizabeth and Daniel Minton are headed into the Guinness Book of World Records after setting the fastest-ever recorded time for setting up a two-person tent. UPI reports that it took about a minute to erect the two-person tent; they initially aimed to do it in less than a minute, but abandoned that dream after discovering Guinness required them to put the rain fly on the tent and zip up the door flaps once both participants were inside. "It was really easy to beat a minute when you didn't have to get in the tent," Daniel Minton explains. Meanwhile, Elizabeth adds, "We honestly thought [our attempt] was going to be rejected because they kept asking for more evidence."
