A week after the disappearance of a mother and her two daughters in Colorado, Weld County prosecutors filed multiple charges against Chris Watts, the Frederick man suspected in the slayings of his pregnant wife and their two young daughters.
According to court documents, Weld County District Attorney Michael Rourke formally charged Watts with a total of nine felony counts: Counts 1 to 5: Murder in the First Degree. Count 6: Unlawful termination of pregnancy in the first degree. Counts 7-9: Tampering with a deceased human body
Watts is being held without bail. He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday morning to be formally advised of the charges he faces.
