Colorado Dog Rescued From Sewage Pond

Dogs love poop for some unknown reason, and yesterday one Colorado dog got herself in a crappy situation because of it...

On Monday, the dog got itself stuck in a sewage pond in Pueblo. When rescuers fished the pooch out, "she was exhausted," Pueblo West Fire Department Division Chief Brad Davidson told KCNC-TV.

The canine was also covered in feces, prompting the fire department to add in a Facebook post, "The dog was then decontaminated, as were the crew and all tools."

The job's not always glamorous, but kudos to our first responders for stepping up in a sticky, stinky, and nasty situation!
