I almost never write stories about sad or bad things. I am not the news, and quite honestly I prefer not to let that kind of stuff bring me down. However, in a circumstance like this, I feel it's completely necessary.
A Loveland, Colorado family is mourning the loss of their son, Army Specialist Gabriel Conde, 22, who was killed as a result of enemy small arms fire in Afghanistan on Monday.
Not only was Conde a solider and a son, but he also was a good person who helped those in need abroad, constructing new ways to grow food in villages in Mexico and even building a new playground for children in need.
If you have an extra prayer in you. I am sure this family would appreciate it right now!
