Winds Were MORE Than Hurricane Force in Colorado Yesterday

It was windy yesterday, duh! But as we have now seen the stats on just how windy it was, it's rather stunning that we all didn't blow away! 

Hurricane-force winds are defined as more than 74 miles per hour. Yesterday winds were as high as 89 miles per hour in parts of Colorado. 

Trees fell into numerous major streets and onto houses.
