Someone Stole a General Lee Snow-Cat in Colorado

I think stealing other people's stuff is cowardly. However, stealing something the size of a tank with an iconic paint job is just plain dumb!

A Sno-Cat painted to look like the Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee car is hardly an inconspicuous vehicle to steal. But that’s exactly what one thief managed to do in Colorado this past weekend.

In addition to calling the police to report the theft, the Sno-Cat’s owner, John Brandenburg, posted a photo of his tank-sized machine on Facebook. The Denver Post reports that several people quickly sent him messages saying they saw the vehicle being towed by a Toyota Tacoma, with one woman following the thief to his house.

The suspect, Jason Cuervo, then barricaded himself inside before a SWAT team showed up. Cuervo somehow escaped, but the Sno-Cat was recovered. I am sure they will catch this smarty-pants soon...
