Who Left Their Fireworks in a Loveland Port-a-Potty?

Yesterday, just down the street from the radio station, I saw a ton of emergency response commotion around a port-a-potty. I assumed there was an Elvis-like incident, but I open the newspaper today I learned what actually happened.

According to the Reporter Herald:

Troopers with the Colorado State Patrol called the Larimer County Sheriff's Office after a report of a suspected bomb in a portable bathroom on the highway construction site west of Loveland, according to information from a Sheriff's Office spokesman. The county bomb squad responded just before 11 a.m. Monday to check it out."It turned out to be three M-80 fireworks in the port-a-potty," said David Moore, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office. "It was commercial fireworks."The bomb technicians disposed of the fireworks.

What a weird place to be playing with fireworks...
