If You Dropped a Box Full of Chickens in Greeley, We Know Where They Are
Once a week or so, my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Cop Log. Basically they compile the weirdest stuff that the cops encounter over the last month or so in Greeley and Evans, and print it for the world to see. Today, it's the story of the chickens randomly dropped off in town, and the cops catching them...
Oct. 19, 3:30 p.m.: Police received a call from the 2800 block of 83rd Avenue. The caller said someone had dropped off a "box full of chickens" in a cornfield and the chickens were climbing out of the aforementioned box. In all, police contained eight chickens, although one escaped into the corn.
I am not sure what the cops do with orphaned chickens, but if you intended for these things to go to someone or a certain place, they didn't make it, and you may want to contact the police to see where they are now.
