Brock Osweiler is the Denver Broncos Starting Quarterback
18 months ago Denver Broncos fans were all about forgetting his name, and I promise there wasn't a single one that would have though "he'll be back as the starter in Denver in a year or two."
Well, the impossible is now reality. Brock Osweiler is now the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos as Trevor Siemian is getting benched after losing three straight games.
How did we get here, and so fast? During the 2015 season Peyton Manning was slumping and injured, so Osweiler stepped in and went 5-2 as a starter. Peyton retied, but Brock decided to bolt to Houston for a four-year, $72-million contract. The Texans benched and later traded Osweiler to Cleveland, which cut him loose this season. The Broncos backup, Paxton Lynch, got hurt, so Denver signed their former player.
Fast forward to today, and the guy who was probably last on everyone's list to ever be a starting quarterback in Denver again, is just that.
CRAZY!
