To me bats have always been flying mice that squeal really loudly. Needless to say, I stay as far away from them as I can. Others are trying to get as close as possible.
A bunch of my friends on social media have been sharing this event that will happen in a couple of weeks at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. It's called "Live Bats! 21+."
It's described like this:
"Live Bats returns! Rob Mies, director of the Organization for Bat Conservation, will introduce an international delegation of some of the rarest bats in the world, including a gigantic flying fox bat from Malaysia with a nearly six-foot wingspan."
My question is why is it adults only? Is it too dangerous for kids, or can you drink... Or both??!
