In the coming years, downtown Colorado Springs could look a lot different. If the proposal passes, construction will begin on a 9,500 seat multi-use sports stadium in Antlers Park. The stadium would become home of Switchbacks FC, as well as host games ranging from youth to college sporting events. As with any project of this size, there are the supporters, and then there are those who are not so gung ho on the project.
I say bring it on!
City council is expected to meet and vote on the matter later this month.
