With a baseball field named after Colorado's favorite beer. . . who can blame them?
According to the Center For Disease Control "Denver not only exceeds other areas of Colorado, but also has higher rates of binge drinking than Las Vegas, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Austin, Texas, which are considered peer cities."
Denver out drinks SIN CITY. LAS VEGAS. Wow. Granted binge drinking is defined as "five or more drinks for men and four or more for women in a period of two to three hours."
So maybe this whole elevation thing makes Denver better able to handle the booze? I couldn't tell ya, but I will say Denver has some of the best bar scenes, local breweries, and like I said they have COORS field. Who could blame em?
