Billboard released a list of songs from the '80s that were hits and then were remade and hit the Top 10 on the charts again. Bobby Bones has been saying in recent years that he thinks the 80s were the worst decade for music and just in general. Some listeners have tried to convince him otherwise, but it hasn't worked. With this article, Bones admitted that there are some good songs from the 80s, but he still stands by his statement. He shared the top eight from Billboard, find out the list below: Â
Tracy Chapmanâs 1988 hit âFast Carâ was remade by Luke Combs in 2023. Â
Cyndi Lauperâs 1984 hit âTime After Timeâ was remade by INOJ in 1999. Â
Bryan Adams 1985 hit âHeavenâ was remade by DJ Sammy in 2002.Â
Lipps Inc. 1980 hit âFunkytownâ was remade by Pseudo Echo in 1985. Â
Willie Nelsonâs 1982 song âAlways On My Mindâ was remade by the Pet Shop Boys in 1987.Â
Elton Johnâs originally wrote his 1988 hit âCandle In The Windâ for Marilyn Monroe, and then he remade it in 1997 for Princess Diana. Â
Roxetteâs 1988 hit âListen to Your Heartâ was remade in 2005 by D.H.T.Â
