Brad Paisley On Why He Keeps Guitars In Freezer + "The Store" Project

Brad Paisley BBS

Ahead of his "Brad Paisley Thinks He's Special" Special airing on ABC Network tonight at 8/7 central, Brad Paisley stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk with Bobby Bones about what to expect of the show, plus what he's been up to lately.

Paisley shared the special came together based on an idea he had of showing off the fun of Nashville. He wanted to bring on all of his friends as musical guests to do whatever song they wanted to showcase and that he did. Just some of the guests on the show tonight include Carrie Underwood, Jonas Brothers, Peyton Manning, and Kelsea Ballerini. He shares on the special they will be seen goofing around and doing all kinds of things to showcase the fun in Nashville and showoff what the nightlife is really like.

Outside of his special on ABC, Paisley is still doing Nationwide commercials with Manning. He joked with Bones that the commercial is mostly how he's recognized these days rather than as a country artist. Also, the project Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley started called "The Store" is helping those in need. It's a free grocery store for those who are going through things and unable to buy their own groceries, but instead of handing them a bag of things they may not want, they are allowed to go into the store and shop to get the things they want.

Also, Bones asked Paisley to follow up on the whole 'guitars in the freezer' situation everyone heard about a while back. Paisley's sister-in-law confessed that Paisley keeps his guitars in the freezer during an interview. Paisley explained it to us saying that he likes to "make things exactly as they should be" and by putting new guitars in the freezer, the wood cracks in all the right places making a new guitar sound perfect afterwards.
