TMSG: Students Pool Money To Surprise Teacher With 'Hamilton' Tickets

A high-school teacher has been trying to see the Broadway musical "Hamilton" for years now. So his class took it upon themselves to pool their money together and surprise him with tickets. Tom Corby, a history teacher at a New Jersey high-school has entered the "Hamilton" lottery every day for the last four years in hopes to win tickets. His students from his AP U.S. Government and U.S. History classes got together, all chipped in some money, and bought their favorite teacher the tickets he's been wanting!

The students needed $600 to buy two tickets for Corby and his wife. In a video posted to Twitter, Corby cries while reading the sweet hand-written note from his students telling him how much they appreciate him and wanted to get him these tickets because he deserved them!
