Thomas Rhettâs sister-in-law, Macy Page, is officially done with chemotherapy.
Page, 33, said it was âthe happiest day,â as she shared a glimpse of her last day of chemotherapy and the moment she rang the bell at the hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Page wrote in her caption on Instagram over the weekend: âIâm officially D O N E with chemo!!!!! đ„ł those words feel so surreal to say. I know the road ahead is long with surgery & more than likely radiation, but I have so much peace knowing the Lord has gone before me. And Iâm not gonna lie, this portion felt huge. The biggest physical hurdle complete. 16 rounds of chemotherapy over 24 weeks, never once delayed by the grace of God all because Jesus (along with my family & friends) literally carried me through đ
âAll of this to say, Iâm SO grateful,â she continued. âLike beyond grateful for this experience thus far. Cancer has completely changed me and has forced me to rely on God with every ounce of my being. I FEEL the Holy Spirit tangibly and itâs a feeling I just canât describe, and one I want EVERYONE to experience. It gets me so. fired. up. đđ» whatâs amazing is Jesus is there for the valleys AND the mountaintops. Heâs there for you right now, right where you are. Whether youâre thriving in life or feel like itâs crumbling down around you, Heâs ready to walk with you no matter the circumstance. And one thing I can tell you from experience is that the valley can be just as sweet as the mountaintop when you look to Jesus & have the hope of heaven. But the Lord knows the valleys are the hardest, and thatâs why He doesnât make us walk them aloneâthank you God for that đ€â
Rhett spotlighted Page and the milestone in her journey during his recent co-headlining show with Niall Horan at GEODIS Park in Nashville. Page, sister to Rhettâs wife Lauren Akins, first opened up about her diagnosis earlier this year. She said at the time, in part, that âit definitely came as a shock and rocked our world a bit, but let me tell you somethingâGod has a plan, and this is HIS story. âŠHe is carrying me through this and is fighting for me! And the prayers & support Iâve gotten from my family, friends, friends of friends and so on is just ABUNDANT. âŠI love all of you, and to my ladiesâcheck. your. girls.â Shortly after Page opened up about her cancer diagnosis, Akins, who was pregnant with Baby No. 5, said she was âcarrying so much joy and anticipation as well as carrying a lot of heavy and sadness in this season.â She thanked everyone âfor all the prayers and support for my sister.â Page and her husband, Tyler Page, will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in October 2026. Page is a mother of two. See her post here:
