Reba McEntire is returning to The Voice this fall.

The legendary country star is returning to the competition show alongside returning coaches Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg and Michael BublÊ, The four artists teamed up to tease the upcoming 28th season and reveal the premiere date in a promo shared on Instagram on Monday (July 28).

McEntire announced earlier this year that she would return to The Voice in its upcoming season. She served as a coach for the first time in 2023 — following long-running coach Blake Shelton’s exit from the show — after her previous roles as Battle Advisor and Mega Mentor. McEntire previously said she’s “got my game face on and I’m ready to WIN 🏆 Just wait til y’all hear the incredible voices of Season 28!”

“I love to encourage,” McEntire said of her experience on The Voice in a previous interview with iHeartCountry. “I can’t tell anybody, ‘Don’t do this. Go get a job. You’re not suited for this.’ But the way that we get to do the – I don’t say critique – advice, it’s helpful advice. It’s not tear-down. We want to lift up. We want to inspire. We want to encourage, not tear down. They get enough of that out there in the world.”

McEntire also announced on Monday that “the countdown is on,” to the premiere of the new season of her sitcom, Happy’s Place. The NBC comedy also stars McEntire’s boyfriend, actor Rex Linn, plus fellow Reba star Melissa Peterman, Belissa Escobedo and others. Happy’s Place will return on November 7, The Voice season 28 will premiere on September 22.
