Brantley Gilbert shared a few throwback photos from his wedding day with his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, as the couple celebrated 10 years of marriage over the weekend.

Gilbert married his wife in Georgia on June 28, 2015. The “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” artist wrote in his caption on Instagram that it's “hard to believe it’s been 10 years since I made the best decision of my life and married the one that got away. A decade of love and the three greatest blessings God’s given either of us later, I’ve never been more thankful that some things are just meant to be, and that God saw fit to put us on that list. I love you pretty girl, and happy anniversary.”

Gilbert previously shared how his wife was nearly the “one that got away” in a conversation with brothers and podcast hosts Dan and Reid Isbell on an episode of God’s Country. He told the Isbells that he was “blown away” the first time he met his wife while he was working community service hours at her church. “Very soon after that, I knew I wanted to marry her.” Gilbert said in that interview that he went down a “self-destructive” path, and the pair went several years without speaking to one another. They reconnected when Amber was “going through some things” and Gilbert offered support. He remembered of that moment, “we really didn't say anything. I just opened my arms and she kind of just fell in and I kissed her on the forehead and said, ‘I got you.’” They’ve been “inseparable” ever since.

Now, Gilbert and his wife share three children: Barrett Hardy-Clay, 7, Braylen Hendrix, 5, and Abram Howell, born in October 2024. Gilbert and Amber welcomed Baby No. 3 on the singer’s tour bus during “what might have been the craziest night of my life,” he said at the time. Gilbert was pulled off stage shortly after starting his headlining show in Tupelo, Mississippi, and he announced to the audience when he returned, “we got a baby!” He and Amber have since said “we will never forget” the night Baby No. 3 was born. Other artists who welcomed babies in 2024 include Jon Pardi, Parker McCollum, Gabby Barrett and more.
