Luke Combs Debuts Rooftop Level At 'Massive' Nashville Bar — See Sneak Peek

Luke Combs shared a sneak peek of the “final touches” on the rooftop bar at his honky tonk and live music venue in Nashville, Tennessee. The rooftop level, known as The Eye, officially opened at 11 a.m. CT on Friday (February 21).

Combs teamed up with Opry Entertainment Group to open Category 10 — named with inspiration from his 2016 breakout hit, “Hurricane” — in November. The four-story, 67,000-square-foot venue includes The Honky-Tonk, Hurricane Hall, The Still and The 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar, in addition to the newly-opened rooftop bar. A clip shared on Category 10’s Instagram account on Thursday (February 20) offered a brief sneak peek of the completed “final touches.”

“Welcome to The Eye of the party—Category 10’s massive rooftop bar is NOW OPEN,” Category 10 announced on Friday. “We're taking it up a level with indoor/outdoor heated space, live music, private cabanas, elevated drinks & eats, and the best river views on Broadway! See it with your own eyes this rooftop season.”

Decor is inspired by Combs’ massively successful career in music, including a mural that nods to the hit single that inspired the name of the bar, “Hurricane.” The rooftop is a 10,000 square foot space includes indoor and outdoor seating, two bars, a dining area, a stage and VIP cabanas, plus views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium, per a press release issued Friday morning. Artists taking the stage to mark The Eye’s opening on Friday include Payton Taylor, Miller Holler, Bus Call and DJ Dirty Darren.

Combs is one of the latest country artists to open a honky tonk and music venue downtown. Others include Eric ChurchLainey WilsonMiranda LambertLuke BryanBlake SheltonDierks Bentley and more. Combs hosted a private performance for fans when he officially opened Category 10, and said at that time that it’s “a dream come true, and I am excited to share it with y'all. This a fan first venue with a little something for everybody.”
