It's Cyber Monday, so later this week you'll end up with a bunch of packages on your doorstep. But beware, as Colorado is a hotbed for porch pirates!
According to data from the home security group Safewise – Denver is one of the cities with the most porch pirates in the United States, and other Colorado cities also face a major problem with thefts.
Colorado police departments recommend having packages delivered to your workplace, or picking them up at Amazon lockers, the Post Office, UPS or FedEx stores. Local law enforcement also recommends getting doorbell cameras installed.
I recommend baiting these jerks with fake packages filled with dirty baby diapers... I have plenty with a 10-month-old at the house! HA!
