The highway we're most familiar with here in Colorado might be getting a new name soon. Colorado lawmakers are in the process of trying to pass a resolution that would rename a stretch of the interstate in Denver, "Barack Obama Highway". On Thursday, Joint resolution 18-1016 passed the House Transportation & Energy Committee with a 12-1 vote. The next step will be for the resolution to be voted on in the full Colorado House of Representatives. A vote hasn't been scheduled yet.
