Listen to Robin Thicke on iHeartRadio

"Blurred Lines" has officially earned Robin Thicke his first number one on the Billboard Hot 100.  The song, which initially starting making waves on the chart after the unrated version of its video was banned on YouTube, zipped up from number six to number one this week.

"Blurred Lines" sold 315,000 downloads this week, up 38%, knocking Macklemore and Ryan Lewis off the top spot after a five-week reign.  It is now Thicke's first song ever to pass one million downloads.  The last one to come close was "Lost Without You" in 2007, which peaked at number 14 on the Hot 100.

Thicke's Blurred Lines album drops on July 9th.
